Fox 250–1) is Edok (k )eshel c. 1250Trinity , Edok (k )eshil (le ), Edok (k )ishil (le )c. 1285, 1316, 1332 ib., Hedokkishilpit 1316 ib., (le ) Edoxhil (l ) 1333 StCatharine 's , 1522Trinity , Edoxhell 1425StCatharine 's . Professor Bruce Dickins suggests that Edok may be a diminutive for Edward , cf. Willok for William .
