Coombe

Early-attested site in the Parish of Monks and Princes Risborough

Etymology

This is almost certainly the home of the William atte Coumbe who in 1354 left a bequest of 'one sheep' to the church at Bradenham (Hist. MSS. Com. Rep. v, App. i, 562), for Coombe is close to Bradenham Parish. v. cumb .
