Sugnell Copse, Suggenhull '1284Ass , great Sugnell ElizRentSur , 'Sucga's hill', v. hyll, probably named from the same man as Sugworth in Radley (456) less than a mile N.E. suggan graf 956 (c. 1200) BCS 924, 'Sucga's grove', was also in this vicinity, v. Pt 3.
