Westbrook, Westebrok 1220 Fees, 1282 Cl, Westbrok '1284Ass , Westbrokes 1305 Abbr, Westebrok '1327SR , Westbroke 1428 FA.'(Place) west of the brook', identical with Westbrook in Boxford Pt. 1234. According to VCH iv, 489, the brook divided the manorial settlement at Westbrook from the borough or port (v. Port supra ) on the E.
