( lost ) , Monkbergh 1352MinAcct , 1354 Misc, Monkberch 1530MinAcct , ' monkhill ' , v. munuc , beorg , possibly in allusion to its being part of the endowment of the chantry chapel on Ladyholme ; Frerefeld ( infra ) was also part of this endowment ( v. A . P . Brydson , Sidelights on Mediaeval Windermere 1911 ) ; it is possible that Mount Barrow(infra ) is the modern form .
