, 1811 OS , referred to as ' Old Warren or Danes ' Camp ' in RCHM 1 38 ( where it is thought that it ' may be the remains of one of Alfred 's burghs , perhaps never completed ' , cf. par . name supra ) ; for the warren from which it is named , cf. the ' patent for free-warren ' held in Little Bredy in 1317 by the abbot of Cerne ( Hutch3 2185 ) .
