, a high part of the cliff , perhaps identical with Copcourt Poynt c. 1586 Tres,1774 Hutch1 , in which case Cockpit shows metathesis of medial [ pk ] to [ kp ] and subsequent rationalization , v. cockpit , hēafod , point ; Copcourt could be ' large house at a hill-top ' , v. copp , court , but cf. Cop Court O 102 .
