, 1812 Sheaf . An earlier form Twisel-bache , date and source not stated , is reported in Sheaf 3 50 ( 10036 ) . This would be ' valley stream with a fork ' , v. twisla , bæce 1 , wella . Initial T - has been regarded as a reduced def . art . The spring is on the boundary with Willington 285infra .
