'Herb garden', v. lēac-tūn. This common p.n. appears as Laughton and Leighton (as do the spellings of Laughton en le Morthen); cf. Phonol. § 20. On the affix, v. le , and Morthing 168infra ; cf. Brampton en le Morthen 162infra .
