Biggin Fm (6″) is Holme al. Newbyggyng 1544 LP, Bygen 1596FF , Biggin al. Holme 1652 ib., Biggon in Newton 1673 ib. and was the home of Walter del Bugginge (1327 SR). v. bigging .“Biggin signifying an habitation ” (Dugdale 9).
