Felley (lost) is so named 1142–8(bis), 1142–50 Eynsh, Pheleleie 1142–8 Eynsh, Feleleye 1271–2For . Cf. Felleyehegge 1298 Eynsh, Felleyeshegg '1300 Wych, which is near Grim's Ditch in Spelsbury.The meaning may be 'wood where fellies are cut,' from OE  felg and (a)h. Cf. PN Sr 115.
