Hawke's Hall is greate hawksells , litle hawksells 1584, greate Hackesalles 1598Ct and is to be associated with the family of Ralph de Hauekeshale (1327SR ) which probably came from Hawke's Hall in Toppesfield infra 463. The correct form should be Hawkeshall 's .
