Etymology

Ramsey Tyrrells. In 1366 Sir Thomas Tyrel sued Robert de Rameseye and Elizabeth his wife for lands in Engeioyberd and Engelaundrey , which had been given to Thomas Blount and Agnes his wife (EAS xix, 51). v. Blunts supra and White's Tyrrells infra .
