Bracey Bridge [brɛˑsjbrig] is Braycefordmilneholme c. 1340 BM, Brayceforthbrig 1369 Works. 'Breið 's ford (later replaced by a bridge),' v. ford , brycg . The first spelling refers to a 'mill field' near the ford, v. myln , holmr .
