Holy Rood Church (SY 843841), rebuilt in 1860 (Kelly), but earlier references to a church here are ecclesiam de Cumbe 1280Ass , 'the church of Coumbe '1361 Pat, ecclesie parochialis de Combe 1434Weld 1, the Church of Comb -Keines 1774 Hutch1, cf. Church Coppice supra .
