Freynston 1270Ass (p), Frensheton 1330SR (p), 1340SR , 1331FF , Frenston 1489 Ipm and perhaps takes its name from the family of William le Fra (u )nceis , a juror in South Molton Hundred in 1238 and 1244 (Ass ).
