Etymology

name Hrucga found in hrucgan cumbes ford (Crawf 1). The fact that there was a pers. name (de) Roggecomƀ in the 1333SR for Chudleigh suggests that there may also have been a hrucgan cumb in that parish named after the same man as Ruggadon.
