Etymology
The parish of Bromborough anciently included Eastham parish, v. 187supra , and Bromborough 237infra . After about 1152, when Eastham chapelry was created, the parish of Bromborough consisted of 1. Brimstage, 2. Bromborough, both now included in Bebington Municipal Borough (v. 245infra ).
