North Hills is Northale (feld )13th, 1313, 1333StJohn 's , Noryhale 13th ib., v. healh . This is in a corner of the parish bounded by Bottisham Lode and the boundary. It is low, but the farm is on a slight rise and this may have given rise to the later corruption.
